For this week's Coffee Chat, we’ll take a minute to talk about a simple way to spread a little extra generosity this season. According to CAF America, ~70% of adults are expected to donate to a charity by year’s end—yet 15% give only during the holiday season.

It made me wonder… could we raise that 15%?

We know charities love cash, but they also welcome gift cards. And with half of Americans holding at least one unused gift card, there’s a very Santa-esque opportunity here to do some good:

  1. Donate an unused gift card to a local cause you care about

  2. Redeem unused loyalty points or rewards for a gift card and pass it on

  3. Give the gift of charity with a product like Charity On Top Foundation, Inc., where recipients can choose from 2M+ local and national charities

There are millions of unused dollars in our kitchen drawers, digital wallets, loyalty accounts, and email inboxes ready to help our communities.

Happy giving! 🎁 Till next time.
